Gay Spain Torremolinos Property
Grupo Imnova are the developers behind the very first property development aimed at the Gay Community.
The development will be located on the Costa del Sol in Torremolinos, home to Southern Spain's largest Gay community and will be called 'Arco Iris'.
Arco Iris will be Spain's first ever retirement complex for the LGTB community: gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals.
The building will comprise of 27 apartments and include a social centre.
The construction will commence in Spring 2010 and the apartments are projected to cost around 150,000 euros

Costa del Sol is definitely one of the most liberal areas in Europe when it comes to gay rights and gay acceptance. Torremolinos is a center of gay life in southern Spain since 70´s and even during franco time was saved..
Nowadays Torremolinos is quite dependent on gay travel. With more than 30 gay venues and its magnet power not only for travellers from abroad but also local gays, Torremolinos is only second to Sitges in terms of gay travel for coastal cities..
