Where is Lloret de Mar?
Loret de Mar is situated on the busy coastline of the Costa Brava about 70 kilometres from the city of Barcelona. Like many of the original towns and villages on the coast it was once a fishing village but has now been transformed into a popular holiday destination covering some 48 square kms and offers its visitors 5 principal beaches to choose from.

As part of the increasingly tourist conscious nation the beaches have been cleaned up to a high standard and are now proud to have been awarded the blue flag. This indicates that they have quality sand areas, quality water areas and adequate facilities for visitors.
