The area of Duquesa is a very popular holiday resort on the Costa del Sol for the British as well as being a very sought after area for property buyers looking for a good priced property with stunning views and local golf courses.

It is mainly known for its stylish port / marina which is lined by a very good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. However, it has become a popualar area for golfers as there are a couple of good quality golf courses close by.

As you arrive at Duquesa the first thing that catches your eye is the fact that it has been constructed in a typical style of an Andalucian white village. Many of the apartments look out across the marina and there is always a great atmosphere with lots of people buzzing around throughout the year.

There are a good number of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in Duquesa and the choice of cuisine is vast. From Indian and Chinese through to Italian and Spanish. The atmosphere in Duquesa is quite lively and the bars provide entertainment through to the early hours of the morning.

There are ample parking facilities in Duquesa, which is pretty much a luxury nowadays on the Costa del Sol.

The shops and restaurants are all along the edge of the marina which gives a fantastic setting and ambience in which to do a little "al fresco" dining.

Access to Duquesa is very easy from anywhere on the Costa del Sol as it is just off of the main N340 highway and like the majority of the Costa del Sol it is served very well by bus service to and from the other main resorts along the Costa del Sol.
