Now this is something you don’t hear much of these days – empathy from a rock legend!
News just in is that the rock star Bon Jovi, a popular artist with many Spanish music fans, has actually waived his concert fee for next month’s Madrid concert.
The tickets were actually priced very low when compared to other European cities, but Bon Jovi feared that due to the economic crisis in Spain, many of his real fans may still not be able to afford to see him.
Madrid had originally been excluded from his tour on the basis that ticket might not sell well because of the crisis.
However, being a legend and a gentleman he decided in true rock start fashion, ‘what the hell’ and is doing a free concert.
Expect it to be a packed arena on 27 June!
