How to get to and from Malaga Airport

By Car - From the Marballa area take the N340 / A7 highway and follow until you see the sign for Malaga Airport just after the highway reduces from 3 to 2 lanes. At various stages of the N340 / A7 you can choose to take the AP7 (toll road), which is a much quieter road. The toll road will merge with the N340 again just after Fuengirola. Tolls vary at different times of the year and are dependent upon where you join it.
From the East of Malaga take the N340 and stay on it until you see the signs for the airport exit.

By Taxi - All towns have taxi ranks and the cost will obviously depend upon where you are travelling from. As a guide you should expect to pay around 70 to 75 euros from Marbella. At the airport itself there is a taxi rank just outside of the arrivals terminal.

By Bus - There are many buses than run to and from Malaga Airport to many different towns of the Costa del Sol. If you are travelling to a smaller village or town you may have to change at one of the bus stations.

By Rental Car - Most car rental companies at Malaga Airport are either within the airport or just outside it. For those that are outside they all provide a courtesy bus service.

By Train - There is a train station at Malaga Airport which runs from Fuengirola and Arroyo de la Miel. The train also runs through to Malaga city centre and the RENFE station where you can connect to Madrid, Sevilla and other cities in Spain.
