Located next to Puerto Banus is Nueva Andalucia

Nuevea Andalucia might not be a location that many people have heard of but it is a very popular part of the Costa de Sol. It is, to many people still classed as Puerto Banus but is the other side of the main road. The area stretches right up into the hills overlooking Puerto Banus and has a large number of popular restaurants and hotels.

Also with Nueva Andalucia are a number of good quality golf courses known to be some of the best on the entire Costa del Sol, making it popular with both summer holiday makers and golf visitors.

The main thing people will notice when arriving at Nueva Andalucia is the Casino, which is visible from the main road. This is attached to the popular H10 Andalucia Plaza hotel, a four star hotel in the heart of Nueva Andalucia and a short walk to the main port itself.

Nueva Andalucia hosts one of the coasts largest and most visited markets on a Saturday morning located around the old bull ring and the commercial centre called "Centro Commercial". It is well worth a visit although beware that parking is very difficult on market day.

The old bull ring itself has been a venue for many concerts including the famous Joaquin Cortez, once the boyfriend of Naiomi Campbell and famed for his Spanish dancing (a Spanish version of river dance).

Within Centro Commercial there are many restaurants and bars as well as a gymnasium and small boutiques. There is a well priced car park to make your visit even easier.

As you head up into the hills of Nueva Andalucia the villas get larger and the views even more commanding. Some of the heights of Nueva Andalucia are home to the villas of many wealthy and famous people.

Neuava Andalucia is a great place to stay for a holiday or to visit if you are staying elsewhere on the Costa del Sol.
