Location: Spain Finding the best holiday deals in SpainSpain remains one of the top holiday destinations and consistently enjoys high levels of tourism due to its fabulous climate and relatively short distance from most northern european countries. The fluctuating exchange rate does often make the cost of living in Spain more than most Spanish holiday makers from the UK are used to but it does not seem to have had a major impact on the number of Spanish holiday makers that arrive each year to enjoy the Spanish hospitality, the sunshine and the amazing food. The crisis does seem to have hit the restaurants quite hard as many Spanish holiday makers tend to opt for self catering and eating in more then they used to. But all of that aside, Spain is one of the few holiday destinations with a good solid infrastructure, hundreds of daily flights from the majority of main airports and a great choice of holiday resorts up and down the country. From the Costa Brava in the north east of Spain where you will find the Spanish holiday resorts of Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar and Blanes through to the Costa Blanca, home to famous holiday resorts lile Alicante, Benidorm and Torrevieja. As you head further along the coast you come across Murcia where you will find the inland 'sea' of the Mar Menor. This is all on the coast called the Costa Calida (the warm coast) which seems to have the highest average temperatures throughout the year. Next is the Costa Almeria where you will find places like Roquetas de Mar and then the Costa Tropical, home of the popular Spanish holiday resort of Almunecar. As you continue along the coastline you will hit the world famous Costa del Sol which is home to many of the major Spanish holiday resorts like Nerja, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona. Finally as you skirt around the rock of Gibraltar you hit the Costa de la Luz on the Atlantic Ocean with some real up and coming Spanish holiday resorts like Tarifa, Zahara de los Atunes, Conil de le Frontera, Huelva and Ayamonte.
